About the business and the role
My client is a leading mid-sized services firm. Their friendly Auckland team resides within modern offices in the heart of Penrose. You will be reporting directly to the Company Accountant but will mainly be autonomous. This role will be for a minimum of 3 months and should see you through to Easter at least.
Job tasks and responsibilities
The main parts of this role include: AP, AR, banking, and other ad-hoc tasks to assist the Company Accountant. There will be some admin tasks on the side but this is a finance focused role for the most part.
Skills and experience
This role would suit a self-starter who doesn't mind trying their hand at different tasks. You will ideally have experience with a large ERP like SAP, JDE or Sage. An understanding of both end-to-end AR and AP would also be helpful.
