IT Customer Service Representative

Established over 30 years ago, this global organisation continues to lead the charge when it comes to defining solutions across the technology sector. They are currently looking for a customer service superstar, available immediately, to join their team of talented individuals who all share the same passion and energy.

The Role

ONGOING TEMPORARY ROLE - BASED IN WELLINGTON CBD.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will have excellent customer service skills, coupled with a call centre background. With full training provided, you will be the authority on providing technical support across the vast client base. This will be a challenging, but ultimately satisfying and invigorating environment.

Troubleshooting is the foundation of your responsibility, so empathising with your customers and maintaining the appropriate level of professionalism whilst you provide the necessary technical support will see you succeed on a day-to-day basis. 

Hours of work will be on a rotating roster, with the earliest shift starting at 7:30am and the latest finishing at 10:30pm. This is a 24x7 helpdesk, open 365 days a year, so you will also be required to work weekend shifts. The shift based team is well established, so you can be confident you will have the support you need within a company culture that is fast-paced and dynamic. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing first level technical support to all clients

  • Developing and maintaining internal and external customer relationships

  • Resolving customer issues and following through to resolution

  • Staying up to date will all new products, systems and processes

  • Developing and implementing product improvements for the development team

Are you skilled at customer service and have previous experience in a help desk environment? Join a team of talented individuals

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience working independently to deadlines

  • A high level of autonomy and self-motivation

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar call centre position
