What you will be doing
The main responsibilities of these positions could include:
Processing high volumes of invoices across weekly and monthly pay runs as well as special and ad-hoc payments.
Involvement in monthly reporting and ad hoc reporting.
Invoice query resolution and handling of purchase orders.
Direct payments – local & overseas.
Statement reconciliations and some month end reporting.
Input into continuous improvement of the accounts payable function
You may also be exposed to payroll, Inland Revenue filing and payment of PAYE and Kiwi Saver, etc.
Do you fit the profile?
Ideally, you will have 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience with a background processing high volumes of supplier invoices. You'll need to be calm under pressure and capable of managing high workloads, multi-tasking when necessary whilst still maintaining a high level of accuracy. These roles will suit individuals who are big on the detail, pride themselves on their accuracy and attention to detail and are personable, diligent and driven.
