Commercial Manager

The Commercial Manager has responsibility for the management of the finance and operation accountabilities. The role will be pivotal in providing manufacturing analysis, support and process improvements in addition to financial and business analysis, budgeting, reporting and strategic planning for the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

This role is split between finance and Commercial activities as outlined below:

Finance 40%

  • Reviewing accounts 
  • Cashflow 
  • Month end 
  • Reporting 
  • Forecasting 
  • Budgeting 
  • Providing analysis and reporting to leadership 

Commercial 60%

  • Manufacturing analysis improvements
  • Process improvements
  • Regular meetings with production manager 
  • Cost benefit analysis 
  • Relocation to new premises (project) 
  • Staff management

To be successful in this position you must have:

  • Experience in a commercial environment 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment 
  • Financially literate
  • Minimum two years experience in a similar Finance role 
  • Proven staff management experience
  • Experience in cash flow management 
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel
