Our client is a large Kiwi owned and operated company who puts a lot of emphasis in providing a good company culture. Due to growth, the payroll team are looking for a new part-time addition to join their office.
About the role
We are looking for a candidate that has experience with all facets of payroll, has a good understanding of the Holidays Act 2003 and legislation updates.
The payroll process, although intricate, is not high volume or high stress. We are really looking for an easy going person that enjoys working in a good working environment. The company uses an electronic T&A system for their 2500+ staff, so data entry will be minimal. Payroll is processed on a weekly and fortnightly basis and there are no collectives.
Skills and experience
You will have a strong background in:
- 2+ years end to end payroll
- Key pieces of New Zealand legislation, specifically the Holidays Act.
- Chris21 or PayGlobal would be advantageous but not necessary.
- Great attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
