A great opportunity to join a fast growing FMCG Eco-Friendly Manufacturing company as the new Head of Supply Chain & Procurement. The successful candidate will demonstrate a clear understanding of all things Supply Chain.

What you would be doing

  • Managing relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and meeting their expectations
  • Managing procurement to maintain relationships with key suppliers and negotiate the most cost-effective terms for supply
  • Working intimately with internal stakeholders to ensure production plans are achievable and executed on time
  • Managing inventory levels and cash flow targets
  • Supporting CEO with strategy and business plans by identifying and communicating improvement opportunities
  • Providing leadership, coaching and development to the Supply Chain team

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running, so to be successful you MUST have:

  • Ideally, 5 years’ experience leading a supply function within an FMCG or similar regulated business is highly desirable
  • Ideally, 5 years experience working in procurement within the FMCG industry.
  • A passion for Eco-friendly products
  • A proven track record for implementing new systems and processors. 
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing a team
  • The ability to lead and deliver business improvement projects
  • Ability to identify opportunities and create value for complex supply chain networks
  • Knowledge of GMP manufacturing regulations
  • Knowledge of production technologies including constraint management and Lean manufacturing
  • Strong commercial skills and acumen
  • Problem solving, skills and analytical assessment
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
