Tell us a little about yourself

After completing a certificate in travel studies at AUT, I started my career in the travel industry as Wholesale Consultant and was lucky enough to visit some amazing countries including France, the United Kingdom, Thailand, USA and most of the stunning Pacific Islands. 

As you might guess, I love travelling. When I’m outside of work you might find me exploring new sights, cultures, and histories around the world. But when I’m not jet setting, I’ll likely be heading to the bach in the Coromandel or, like all Kiwis, cheering on the All Blacks!

Tell us about what you have achieved in your personal and/or work-life

My proudest achievement so far was juggling traveling around the world and exploring diverse cultures and places and meeting some incredible people along the way, all whilst building a successful career for myself.

Tell us about your career to date

In my early days, I worked as a Receptionist, Consultant, and Manager and had direct experience in Product and Marketing. This experience combined with my recruitment career has enabled me to build a deep knowledge base across a range of industries, and an understanding of just how important it is to find the right fit for both the candidate and client.

What drew you to recruitment?

I love helping people and when I gained exposure to recruitment, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in an industry that, at the core, is about helping people find purpose and reach their aspirations. 

Why is recruitment important to you?

A lot of people don’t know where to start when looking for a new role so I relish utilising my skills to help people find the next step in their careers. I also love learning about different organisations and working as an extension of their business to assist in finding the right person for their team.
