Tell us a little about yourself
Having grown up in Tauranga, I fell in love with the glorious sunshine and scenic outdoors from a very young age. Wellington has so many beautiful walking tracks and so I spend most weekends getting out and exploring the new tracks.
Like a lot of Kiwi’s, I made the jump across the ditch and moved to Sydney in my early twenties. I spent four years in Australia, and during this time, I realised my love for travelling. I toured up the East Coast of Australia, then ventured to Singapore, Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, and Laos taking in the unforgettable sites, before returning home to New Zealand.
I’m also a Shortland Street superfan, “you’re not in Guatemala now, Dr Ropata”, which I pride myself on daily in the office!
Tell us about what you have achieved in your personal and/or work-life
It is safe to say that I have a huge love for all animals as I am trained as a Veterinary Nurse and obsessed with all thing’s puppy related!
In addition, I am a master baker and while I was travelling around Singapore, I still managed to leave time for buying more baking equipment! This means I’m now Parker Bridge’s resident birthday cake baker!
