Tell us a little about yourself

Having grown up in Tauranga, I fell in love with the glorious sunshine and scenic outdoors from a very young age. Wellington has so many beautiful walking tracks and so I spend most weekends getting out and exploring the new tracks.

Like a lot of Kiwi’s, I made the jump across the ditch and moved to Sydney in my early twenties. I spent four years in Australia, and during this time, I realised my love for travelling. I toured up the East Coast of Australia, then ventured to Singapore, Thailand, Bali, Vietnam, and Laos taking in the unforgettable sites, before returning home to New Zealand.

I’m also a Shortland Street superfan, “you’re not in Guatemala now, Dr Ropata”, which I pride myself on daily in the office!

Tell us about what you have achieved in your personal and/or work-life

It is safe to say that I have a huge love for all animals as I am trained as a Veterinary Nurse and obsessed with all thing’s puppy related!

In addition, I am a master baker and while I was travelling around Singapore, I still managed to leave time for buying more baking equipment! This means I’m now Parker Bridge’s resident birthday cake baker!

Tell us about your career to date

I have worked in a variety of roles that have a breadth of perspectives. This includes managing a team of mortgage specialists and I worked within Organisational Development with a focus on people and culture across both government and private sectors.

What drew you to recruitment?

I am interested in career development and excited to connect people to the next step in their professional journey.

Why is recruitment important to you?

From my experience working in organisational development, I know how important it is for the right people to be in the right roles and I am excited to be a part of enabling that.
