A Commerce and Management graduate from Lincoln University in Canterbury, Craig has over 20 years of recruitment experience having commenced his career with Parker Bridge in London in 1994.
After rising to the level of Director in 1996, Craig founded Parker Bridge NZ in May 1997, followed soon after by Parker Bridge Ireland in 1999. A Director and shareholder of the Parker Bridge Group prior to the sale of it's UK, Irish, and Australian operations in 2003, as the Director of the New Zealand operation, Craig’s primary focus is around the strategic direction of the business and overall company performance.
Outside of Parker Bridge, Craig’s interests are varied including directorships and shareholdings in several other companies. When he’s not at work, Craig also enjoys farming, outdoor adrenaline sports and spending quality time with his wife and children.
I have worked with Parker Bridge for the last four years to recruit Contact Centre, Internal Area Managers, and administration roles. More recently, over the past 12 months, I have worked with Craig Hegan and the Parker Bridge team to recruit an entirely new Executive team as part of a major transformation project. This included a new Head of IT, Head of Finance, Head of Health & Safety, and Head of Operations. All have brought additional capabilities into our organisation resulting in a profitable business turnaround, higher staff engagement, and a strong performance-driven culture.
Underpinning this success has been a willingness from Parker Bridge to invest time in understanding our business. Mutual trust has been developed due to the successes we have had, and Parker Bridge's recruitment methodologies and headhunting have ensured that I have never had to interview countless candidates when recruiting. Recruitment is key to our success and to find the right strategic partner provides me with the confidence that candidates being presented are fit for purpose. We value our partnership with Parker Bridge and I would have no hesitation in utilising their services on-going. - Scott Taylor
