Verification & Reference Checks

A reference check can be a manager's last chance to ensure the professional they plan to hire is really who they think they are. When combined with psychometric and skills testing, reference checks can provide validation for the indicators the candidate assessment tests identified earlier and the manager's own evaluation that was made during their interview.

Whilst a reference check can be an excellent method to verify the candidate's performance at a previous employer, certain verifications require a more official record check. Some positions may require a criminal conviction or a credit check to ensure the candidate meets all the role requirements prior to commencing work.
